First Steps!

Jon and I have been wondering when Abigail was finally going to decide that she could get up and walk. I feel like she has been ready for months, but she is such a chicken.

Finally, yesterday, as we were in the midst of unpacking our new place, I hear Kristin saying, "Rebecca, Rebecca, you might want to get in here." So of course I come into the room and there is Abby taking her first steps. It was such a great moment. I felt like the proudest mother in the whole world. It is times like this when I realize that my little girl is not going to be little for long and I need to cherish every second I get with her. She is growing up way too fast!
