Gerber Baby!

Jon and I always joke about how we are going to make a fortune off of Abigail because she is so beautiful and how she is cuter than any of the babies we see on T.V. or in magazines. We think she would make the perfect Gerber baby. Maybe we are a little bias, but look at these photos and tell me you don't agree.

I just love theses photos. Our friends the Hopkins were nice enough to offer to babysit Abigail while Jon and I had a Valentine's Day date. It was such a great deal, because when we went to pick Abby up we also had some new beautiful photos. I told them they could babysit whenever they wanted.

Climbing Abby!

Look at Abby go! Since we do not have stairs at our place, we had no idea if she could climb them, but when we were in Dallas last weekend, we were able to see her skills in action. It was her first time and she did such a good job. She was a pro.

The Ion

It has been a rough month for our beloved car. It all started a few weeks ago during one of Stillwater's so called blizzards. Our car was in the parking lot minding it's own business when some crazy car could not handle the ice and lost control and ran into the back bumper. Because of the ice on the parking lot, as our car got hit it slid into the next space over.

The next day as I was walking to the car, I saw that the Ion was parked at some crazy angle and I knew that I had been the last one to drive, but i also knew that I had parked it straight. I began to investigate, and I noticed we had been hit. The annoying thing is, whomever hit us did not leave a note or anything. So we really have no idea what happened.
Then this past Thursday, the Ion got hit again. I was coming home from Enrichment. The light had just turned yellow and I was going straight and a girl tried to make a left hand turn. I was just so glad that Abigail was not in the car with me. I was really lucky because it was not a super bad hit and the damage could of been a lot worse.

Dancing Abby...

Our little Abigail is growing too fast. It seems like just yesterday she was born, but now almost 9 months later we have a crawling, dancing and game playing machine. She is at such a fun age, and always seems to be so happy.

So, the other day, Jon and I needed to do some serious cleaning in our apartment, and the only way we were going to accomplish the task was to create a barricade and block Abby in the family room. So we used our kitchen table chairs and built a wall dividing the family room and the kitchen. Abigail was not happy about the barrier, so we tried to distract her with toys and music. Luckily the distraction worked and at one point we checked on her and found her dancing away to the music. Music is a new love of hers. It is so cute, because as of late every time she hears music she stops what she is doing and starts bouncing. We love it!

She has also discovered Peek a Boo.
