Halloween

For Halloween Abby and Rebecca dressed up as lambs. It took Rebecca about 3 days to make the costumes, gluing all those cotton balls on the T-shirts but we think it was worth it. Abby on the other hand loved Halloween. She loved going out with her friends in the ward, and loved the concept of going house to house to get candy. Abby has never had candy until this Halloween and she soon learned that we have been depriving her of goodness all this time. She even learned how to say pumpkin and every time she sees a pumpkin she thinks she is going to get candy.

Abby even loved it when the trick or treaters came to our door. Abby would grab her plastic pumpkin and squeal running to the door to greet them. She was afraid of some of the costumes, especially ones with masks on, but for the most part she loved every second of it.

The Walk Around (Homecoming)

Every year, Oklahoma State campus brings in about 70,000 people to enjoy the tradition of its famous walk around. Basically the walk around is the Greek housing putting up stationary floats in front of their houses and everyone will walk around (hence the name) and look at them. Of course there are tons of venders, a mini carnival, games, and live bands performing in the street. It is seriously a big thing here at Stillwater. And this year we have much to be proud of since our football team has gone 10-0 for the first time in OSU history. Hopefully they can continue their winning streak, beat OU in the bedlam games, and head off to the Championship bowl game, to beat LSU! I cannot wait to see those tigers get spanked like a four year old at K-Mart.
