So Rebecca and I went to the doctors yesterday and found out that our baby is a girl. We are so excited, and cannot wait till the day will come when we will be able to hold her in our arms. I am already trying to prepare Rebecca that I will spoil her beyond measure. She says that is fine but I don't think she understands exactly what that entitles. Rebecca though is terrified already of how I will treat the boys who come knocking to ask her out, and eventually ask for her hand in marriage. I keep telling her that she isn't the one who should be terrified it is the little boys coming down to heaven as we speak, or have been down a year or two already. I am already thinking of lines I could use. Of course I will use the famous Grandpa Mason line. "If you harm her give your heart to the Lord because you’re ... is mine!" The others I still have plenty of time to think about, but I am leaning more on the line in the movie New in Town where he says, "Whatever you do to my daughter I will do to you."
Well I have posted the pictures of the ultra sound below; they are not the best pictures because our daughter is already stubborn. She was moving like crazy but kept her hands in a fist for most of the time or held her foot in her hand the rest of the time. She also wouldn't let us get a good picture of her head. The only thing she did let us see is "the goods" as Rebecca calls it to find out that she is indeed a girl.

Congratulation again on having a little girl. I am sure you won't be the only one spoiling her.
As for lines to use on young men on the prowl, how about this line from the movie "Clueless", "I have a gun and a shovel - you won't be missed!"
Oh, I know you will spoil her, besides my philosphy is; you might as well try and make up for all the mistakes you will make raising them! How fun!!!! We can hardly wait to hold her also!
For some reason I always pictured you guys with a baby girl. Maybe because I just picture Jon as the spoiling type and it's so cute cute when dads spoil little girls. He'll be so cute with her.
I'm already thinking of things to say to my unspoiled girls to make it all better when they see their Monson cousins. Ha ha ha. I'm only kidding. My girls certainly aren't lacking.
I'm so excited for you guys!!! Another niece! I can hardly wait to meet her. You guys will both be great with a little girl. We Keller women seem to produce lot's of girls. Maybe someday Ashley will be able to help us out and give us some boys!! Just kidding. Congratulations again!!!
Congrats!! a baby girl will be a wonderful addition to your family. I am so happy for you! Next time you are in Utah we will have to meet up!
