So Rebecca and I made jam and bread today for family home evening, it was quite fun and delicious. It was funny because during the process of making jam Rebecca said, "Doesn't this make you feel like a pioneer?" I said, "yeah especially with our blender, and kitchen aid."
Got the jars ready. We had to go out and buy more, we just underestimated the quantity of fruit.
Peeling, depitting, and cutting up the peaches for the blender.
Got the sugar ready. Now I know why jam is so delicious!
Wow we couldn't believe how much sugar we had to put in!!!
Strawberry jam.
Putting the jam in the jar.
Yum Jam! It is delicious to the taste!
What better to go with home made jam than home made bread. It is cooking right now as we speak and we are so excited to have some for dinner.

Penny's looking at your blog with me and she just said, "It's Aunt Becca!" She loves you guys.
Your jam is so pretty all lined up on your counter. Way to be a homemaker.
What a fun activity to do as a married couple!!!
Rebecca I am surprised that Jonathan would even help you with making Jam, after his harrowing experience in jam making with the Fam!!! I guess it is true that time heals all wounds!!
Your jams look goooood! After your birthday I was craving cake--now after seening your blog I am craving jam and bread! (I think I feel a song coming on...)
Love Yas!
What does BB&J stand for??? Is it Peanut Butter and Jelly or Peanut Butter and Jam, no one will ever know. I guess it all depends on whether you have jam or jelly. But what if you have both. And if I ask my mom, "Hey mom can you make me some PP&J." And she's like, "Depends, do you want PP& Jam or PP& and Jelly?" I would say, "who the BEEP cares, just make the dang sandwhich and stat, and also don't forget to cut the crust please."
Who in the world is Bippity Bobbity Bacon? I don't know but he sure is funny, and makes a great point. I laughed my head off.
Also you know what song i can't stand anymore? Viva La Vida!
Do not use my name Mom Monson, Bippity, Bobbity, bacon (aka David)!
If you scroll at just the right speed it's like a flipbook movie. A little choppy though. Next time take about 4 times as many pictures and put them all on there. Should be perfect.
